How to install SquadBox in your Jeep Wrangler
No drilling, no cutting, no trip to a shop. SquadBox mounts to existing points in your Jeep's floor and tub using hand tools and the hardware that comes with it. Most people have it in and loaded in an afternoon. It comes out just as cleanly if you sell the Jeep.
Step by step
- 1
Unpack and check the kit
Lay out the frame, panels, lid and hardware. Confirm you have the kit that matches your year, model and subwoofer.
- 2
Clear the cargo area
Remove anything behind the rear seats. You do not need to drill or cut anything in the tub.
- 3
Bolt the frame to existing points
Position the frame in the tub and fasten it to the factory mounting points with the hardware that comes with it. Hand tools only.
- 4
Fit the panels and lid
Install the front panel and lid. Both lock on their own. Check that the hardtop still seats as it did from the factory.
- 5
Test the locks and load it
Lock and unlock both compartments, then load your gear. Most people finish in an afternoon.
